Dean Larkin Design is a Los Angeles architecture firm founded in 1999 on a single conviction: that great design begins with understanding how a space will actually be lived in. For more than two decades, we’ve worked with homeowners, developers, and commercial clients across Los Angeles and Southern California — bringing each project to life through a combination of purposeful planning, natural light, and a deep familiarity with what makes this region one of the most distinctive places in the world to build.

We take time to understand how you move through a space, what you want to feel when you’re in it, and what the site itself is telling us — in terms of light, views, and relationship to the landscape. About Dean Larkin, AIA
A born and raised Angeleno, Dean earned his degree from the University of Southern California and went on to build an award-winning portfolio of residential and commercial work across Los Angeles and beyond. He established Dean Larkin Design in 1999 after years designing high-end residential and luxury destination projects, including work featured in Architectural Digest.
Dean’s work has been published in The Wall Street Journal, Los Angeles Times, Architectural Digest, Robb Report, Luxe, and California Homes, among others. He has received three Gold Nugget Awards and the Los Angeles Business Journal Award, and has served as an architectural judge for the AIA Restaurant Awards. He remains an active member of the Architectural Guild of USC.
