Journey of Dean Larkin Design
Every design firm has a journey, and ours began with Dean Larkin working as the first employee of Richard Landry, founder of Landry Design Group. Dean worked on many luxury projects with Landry, until eventually in 1999, he founded Dean Larkin Design architect firm. He brought his talent and his clients’ desires together for some truly spectacular designs and has since led a talented team in creating remarkable homes throughout Southern California, inspired by the region’s natural beauty and diverse architectural heritage.
From designing grand estates to partnering with real estate developers to bring luxury residential spaces to life, our portfolio showcases a rich tapestry of unique, custom projects. With an unwavering commitment to quality and craftsmanship, we have built our reputation as a leading architect firm in Los Angeles.
Dean Larkin Design’s DNA
Dean Larkin Design is a well established contemporary architecture firm in the Los Angeles, CA area. Individuals who want a unique residential or commercial space seek out Dean Larkin Design for many reasons. A big part of that is who we are, our vision and how we work with our clients.
At our heart, we are focused on bringing a location to its full potential, utilizing natural elements like light and location to create a space that is uniquely perfect for our clients’ desires and lifestyle. We make extensive use of light, especially natural lighting. This is one of the ways that we make our designs green. We also love to blur the lines between indoor and outdoor spaces and continue the same materials for walls and window and door sills because we feel this creates an integrated architecture design with gradual transitions.
