As we enter 2026, we are reflecting on 2025, a year shaped by momentum, responsibility, and purpose. From opening a new location to joining our community in moments of need, this year reaffirmed what matters most to our studio: thoughtful design, collaboration, and community. In 2025, wildfires deeply impacted communities across California. In response, we volunteered with the AIA (American Institute of Architects) Fire Assistance program to support homeowners navigating the early stages of recovery. Our role focused on guidance during an overwhelming time, helping families understand next steps, evaluate impacts, and begin thinking about rebuilding. This experience underscored the broader role architects play beyond design: as listeners, advisors, and advocates, especially when our own communities need support.

As Dean said, “When you rebuild for someone who’s lost everything, you’re not just designing a house, you’re helping them reclaim their life.”

In 2025, we moved into our new space, which reflects how we work today and supports where we’re headed.

Designed for collaboration and clarity, the office brings our team together in an environment filled with natural light, flexible work zones, and room to grow. It’s a place where ideas can be tested, refined, and realized, and where clients and partners can feel at home in the process.

This year was about strengthening foundations, both literally and figuratively. With a new office in place and a strengthened connection to community, we’re entering the next chapter with focus and intention. As we look ahead, our commitment remains the same: to create beautiful architecture that is livable, light-filled, and responsive to the people and places it serves.
